Volunteerism
Volunteerism is defined as contributing one’s time or talents for charitable, educational, social or other worthwhile purpose in one’s community. Volunteerism is reaching out to the disadvantaged, caring for the poor, helping the disenfranchised. Volunteerism is the cornerstone of the Haven Homeless Shelter. Volunteers do everything from cleaning and organizing to reading stories to the Haven’s children to creating meals and doing bible studies. Our volunteers come from every walk of life, and every social component that builds a community at the Haven. We appreciate all of the volunteers that come through the Haven’s doors. Not matter how big or small the job. Make the Haven your home for volunteering. Bring your talents, skills, ingenuity, and creativity to the Haven Homeless Shelter. Help us to change lives in 90 days. Please call Robin at 864-582-6737 or email at pa2.hshelter@att.net.
